Ashley Raiff is a dedicated fine artist based in the vibrant city of Brooklyn, New York. Her educational journey led her to the esteemed halls of the Fashion Institute of Technology, where she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree, complemented by a minor in Art History. Ashley’s artistic palette is versatile, encompassing acrylic and oil paint, sculpture, and printmaking.
Her artistic vision is rooted in the profound exploration of universally shared human experiences, underscoring the ephemeral beauty of fleeting moments in our lives. With each stroke of her brush and every piece she creates, Ashley aspires to kindle a personal connection between viewers and her artwork, inviting them to interpret and embrace it in their own distinct ways.
Ashley’s journey into the world of art began during her formative years in southern New Hampshire, where she was raised by her loving mother and father. Tragically, her father’s passing at a young age left her and her mother to navigate life together. Her awareness of being adopted has been a constant presence in her life, a reminder of the unique path that has brought her to where she stands today.
Following her high school graduation, a new chapter unfolded as Ashley, her mother and her stepfather embarked on a life-changing move to the bustling metropolis of New York City. It was there that she fully embraced her artistic calling, leaving behind the familiar in pursuit of creative excellence. Over the years, her dedication and unwavering commitment to her craft have produced outcomes, as she continues to evolve and refine her artistic skills while pursuing her ever-burning creative aspirations.
